Pacific Northwest Mood

I still marvel at the Pacific Northwest landscape - endless mountains, lots of greenery and heavy clouds. There is a dramatic mood in the air, born of this landscape, and a sense of grandiosity of the world and nature. 

Yet even with the clouds it’s bright all around - there is a lightness in the air created by open space and lush trees. 

All the while, the mountains carry a poetic calmness that cradles the soul.
